Program Components

Modern Science

Our program is based on the latest neuroscience of how the brain is able to change itself through neuroplasticity and  how we can use this to our advantage to create beneficial habitual patterns.

Skills developed through daily audio recordings and themed workshops.


Mindfulness teaches us to train our brain to pay attention to particular thoughts, emotions or sensations to ensure our choices determine positive mental habits that develop the results we want.

Skills developed through audio lessons plus meditation & yoga workshops.

Emotional Intelligence

EQ teaches us to become sensitive to our own and others emotions and learn to discriminate between them to ensure they do not dominate in our decision making.

Skills learnt through audio lessons and body-mind awareness training in group classes.

Nutrition & Fitness

It is now well understood that a healthy gut microbiome, good nutrition and regular exercise improves mental focus, energy levels and resilience.

Delivered through twice daily stretch and movement classes, a 100% organic plant based menu and a nutrition program (5 nights only)

Group Day Visits

For day visits we split your group into smaller groups of 6 or 7 persons to allow you to experience different activities at different times and then come together for lunch and a special afternoon workshop. Our bespoke program below is $300pp (extra costs apply if less than 12 guests). For smaller groups under 6 persons you can choose to simply join our existing day retreat program for $200pp – click here for details.

Day Retreat Itinerary

9:00am: Arrive for morning tea
9:45am: Groups split into massage, mindful movement or meditation 1 hr workshops
12:45pm: Groups finish small group activities
13:00pm: Group come together for lunch
14:00pm: Stress Management / Mindful Leadership Private Workshop
15:30pm: Guests depart or join optional 3.30pm yoga class

Group Overnight Visits

Groups can join one of our existing programs with other guests or book the retreat for a 100% private bespoke retreat program.

Non exclusive groups can have exclusive use of The Lodge and still book private customised workshops but are limited to maximum 12 guests.

Exclusive use group hire is available Wednesday to Friday (2 nights) or Sunday to Friday (5 nights) for maximum 38 guests. Contact us for quote.

The Stress Management Training is delivered either via Paul’s audio recordings plus classes held by Billabong Retreat in house teachers or in person by Paul during Mindfulness Retreat weeks or via private workshop bookings.
