There has been so much coverage about climate change recently and it all seems very doom and gloom. A lot of conversations about the problem but I haven’t found that as many people are talking about real solutions.

I found 2040 really inspiring because the film doesn’t just talk about why climate change is happening and what we could do. Instead they choose the optimistic avenue and go around the world and show people who are already doing awesome things. Like villages in Bangladesh operating their own solar power network or farms that are actually drawing carbon out of the atmosphere rather than putting more in!

Whether you believe in climate change or not, whether you believe everything in the film or not, that is totally up to you. But it is pretty cool food for thought.

How to watch it? You can rent 2040 on Youtube for around $4 or buy the DVD from the 2040 website.
